Presently，a new lifestyle called low carbon life is spreading every comer of the world．¹People be fieve that if they consume less resource，the living conditions will be better．
The appearance of this Vend is mainly due to the worsening environment on earth．²Human beings are exhausting the energy resources and emitting greenhouse gases，which changed the earth’s climate and led to a series of serious consequences．Therefore．it’s everyone’s responsibility to live a low carbon life to protect our earth．³
How to realize it⁴In the first place，the government should advocate a no—car day every week，because Cars not only waste energy but also cause serious air pollution．Citizens should be encouraged to take public transportation，or just ride a bike or walk．Besides，people had better not use disposable plastic bags but use bags which can be reused again and again．Moreover，we should try every means to save energy in our daily life．We ought to put out the light the moment we leave a room，turn off the tap in time，and reuse our textbooks and so on．⁵
